Our client is one of the major federal associations in the building materials industry. For more than 100 years, he has been representing the economic, technical, legal and social interests of his member companies – meanwhile about 70 construction materials works.

As part of the succession planning for the attractive location in the middle of Lower Saxony, we are looking for a confidently occurring, high-contact and engaged personality as department manager of construction application (m/w/d).

You are in demand for the specialist advice of the members of the association and represent their interests engaged in standardization and specialist committees. You are responsible for demanding issues of construction application and building physics and accompany research and development projects from idea and scientific analysis to practical implementation. You act as an inspiring spokesperson and networking contact person in specialist seminars, workshops and information events and actively support the media work of the association. With your view for technical trends and your sense of current standards, you will secure the technological advance of the association and develop forward-looking software solutions.

You have completed your studies in the field of civil engineering or building physics. You bring profound expertise in the above-mentioned field of tasks and knowledge in project and organization management. You understand that complex technical facts are understandable and reach, convince and take people. You are a strong networker and negotiating partner and are keen to get in touch with a variety of target groups and promote knowledge sharing in the industry. You work independently and structured, can deal with high degrees of freedom, think analytic and solution-oriented and like to introduce their own ideas and creativity.
