Technical Manager - Cloud / Kubernetes / CI/CD (m/f/d)

You conduct technical and actively in funded research projects (e.g. Horizon Europe, IPCEI-CIS, Digital Europe), including architectural decisions, technical deliverables and work package control You unravel sovereign, secure and scalable cloud architectures for R&E-Use Cases (e.g. AI/HPC, Data Spaces, Edge Computing, Web3, Cybersecurity, Sovereign Cloud) You first and prioritize Epics and User Stories and take responsibility for the technical backlog in close coordination with research partners:inside and internal stakeholders You carry out workshops, requirements analysis and guide technical designs for consortia, internal stakeholders and contractors You are the central interface and technical contact for internal teams, project partners:inside, subcontractors:inside and EU and government representatives:inside; you control communication, risks and dependencies You evaluate new technologies and transfer relevant results in product roadmaps; you represent the company in departments, working groups and at conferences

You have a degree in IT and very good German and English skills You have several years of experience in the design and implementation of cloud architectures (Compute, Storage, Network, IAM, Security) and are safe to use common architecture design tools (e.g. ArchiMate, Lucidchart) You have very good knowledge of Kubernetes, Container Technologies, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible) and CI/CD pipelines You are routined in creating and prioritizing Backlogs (Epics, User Stories) and working at the interface between product, engineering, research and external partners:inside You have excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to understand complex technical concepts even non-technical audiences You work independently, structured and result-oriented and have a quick understanding in new technologies and regulatory requirements
