Deputy Kitchen Manager Commercial Kitchen – Garbsen (m/f/d)

As a deputy kitchen line (m/w/d), you support the kitchen line, coordinate the everyday kitchen and ensure a healthy, high-quality food supply for up to 1,000 meals a day. Framework conditions: Place of use: Garbsen, Hahne Residenz ''Haus der Ruhe''. Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week. Type of contract: Unlimited. Working hours: Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 13:30 or 14:30, depending on the schedule. Weekend services: two weekends a month. Payment: For a weekly working time of 40 hours, the monthly gross salary is 3.826.26 €.

Your tasks: Team management: instructions and motivation of the kitchen team in the absence of the kitchen management. Kitchen organization: Ensuring a smooth process with high production volume (about 1,000 meals a day). Purchasing & Storage: Ordering, acceptance, control and professional storage of goods. Food planning & preparation: participation in food planning and operational cooperation in the daily business. Quality & Hygiene: Ensuring and complying with HACCP policies and all legal requirements. Employee development: Support for feedback and development talks in the team.

Your profile: Qualification: Completed training as a cook. Professional experience: Multiannual experience in shared or large kitchen, ideally complemented by first leadership experience. Working methods: Structured, independent and responsible working methods, including high work volume. Leadership & team skills: Enforcement strength and ability to motivate and evaluate a team. Technical knowledge: Safe handling of HACCP policies and common PC applications.
