About us Do you want to improve demanding production processes and actively shape the future of innovative specialty glasses? In this position, you play a key role in the optimization, further development and stabilization of our shaping and cooling processes within the special float glass production at the Jena site. Your duties Analyze, optimize and develop production processes in the area of shaping and cooling of special float glass Increase plant performance, product quality and process efficiency by data-based improvement measures Conduct and accompany technical projects and investment projects from planning to implementation Identify the causes of technical disturbances and develop sustainable solutions together with production and maintenance Plan, accompany and evaluate trials for process and product optimization Create and maintain technical documentation, work instructions and process standards Drive technological innovations and evaluate new processes, plant concepts and technologies Support continuous improvement of work safety, quality and environmental standards Your profile Complete study of process engineering, mechanical engineering, materials engineering or a comparable subject Multiannual professional experience in a manufacturing industry environment Experience in the analysis and optimization of technical production processes Safe handling of project management methods and interdisciplinary cooperation Structured and analytical approach to complex technical issues Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing High self-initiative and joy in implementing improvements sustainably Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
