The BBK is the head office of the Federal National Crisis Management Agency in Germany. Design and development – Based on the developed standards, you will design future-oriented technical solutions for the “supplementary equipment”. You keep an eye on the current state of science and technology and bring innovative developments into our planning. Consultation – As a specialist, you will advise managers of all levels on technical issues of the Federal Equipment. Coordination and control of procurement – you support procurement projects in matters of technical design of the equipment and take over the project coordination and control within the department. You represent the BBK in standardization and specialist bodies, interdisciplinary working groups and at events and trade fairs.

You have successfully completed a Master's degree programme in a relevant field of study. You have acquired your bachelor's degree in a technical engineering course relevant for the task, for example the mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics. You can also apply if you have a scientific degree (univ.) in a relevant technical engineering course, e.g. mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics. You are characterized by a pronounced technical understanding. Ideally, you have already gained professional or voluntary experience in the field of civil or civil protection, e.g. through cooperation in a fire department, aid organization, THW, Bundeswehr. You can work well into complex issues, quickly adapt to different expectations and take responsibility for your task.
