Number: MER00048AN Our department designs and supports solutions for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and thus supports the efficient application of processes, methods and tools. One focus is on the understandable, consistent and reliable provision of knowledge – from how-tos and click instructions to structured knowledge resources for internal AI and virtual assistant solutions. As a working student, you help us prepare existing information for the future and improve its quality sustainably.

These challenges include: You analyze and structure existing process, method and tool documentation from different sources and merge redundant or contradictory content into consistent knowledge modules.

You use Generative AI tools to process documentation, how-tos and click instructions according to target groups and systematically identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies and potential for improvement.

You support the quality assurance and harmonisation of the knowledge content for internal search, retrieval and assistance systems and pay attention to comprehensible sources, uniform standards and regular handling of AI.

The activity can start from October 2026.

Studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Sciences, Technical Communication or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Secure handling of MS-Office; first experiences with AI tools and knowledge or documentation systems are advantageous

Commitment, team capacity and joy in making complex technical content understandable and targeted

Analytical way of thinking and a structured, careful and independent way of working

Interest in generic AI, knowledge management and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) as well as a good sense of the quality, consistency and traceability of information
