Train traffic controller training 2026 (m/f/d)

As of September 1, 2026, we are looking for the 3-year training as a railway operator: in the train control (w/m/d) for the DB InfraGO route at the Weiden site. you will visit the vocational school B2 in Fürther Straße 77 in 90429 Nuremberg. Train drivers ensure that thousands of trains are safe and on time. This task requires technical understanding, high concentration and a sense of decision - especially in complex or unusual situations. This is what you expect in your training:

You learn to control train traffic safely and on time With the other employees: inside the train control and the control points as well as the driver: you are often in contact with them You learn when you need to press the right buttons and buttons to switch for example signals (lights) or switches (crosses for a track change) During your training, you are familiar with the application of operational regulations and safety-relevant rules In the course of your training, you will be fully familiar with our various control systems - from the classic mechanics in the mechanical control unit to the relay and push button control of modern systems to the digital operation in the electronic control unit. After your training you will be employed in shiftwork, also on weekends and holidays
