We, Mercedes Benz AG, offer you an exciting and varied doctoral thesis in cooperation with a university (Institute for Control Technology or Institute for Driving Dynamics) in the field of vehicle motion control and ergonomics. We are leading in the future in the areas of luxury electric and mobility. As part of the promotion, an integrated drive dynamic controller is to be created to investigate and understand the potential advantages of several actuator assemblies. These include steer-by-wire, rear wheel steering, torque vectoring and active aerodynamics. The vehicle control can be evaluated both on a complete vehicle model driving simulator and on prototype vehicles.
