Anamnese collection and investigation of blood, plasma, thrombocyte and stem cell donors. Monitoring of mechanical plasmaphereses and cytaphereses. Examination and evaluation of side effects in the context of hemotherapy. Consiliary, laboratory-diagnostic and transfusion-medical-hemotherapeutic consultations of the medical colleagues and nursing staff of the clinics of our catchment area in the 24-hour service, together with the Klinikum Nuremberg (clinic of maximum care; one of the largest municipal hospitals in Europe) Monitoring of immunohematological laboratory tests. You have the opportunity to get to know the research and development department and to work on projects there. During training in the field of transfusion medicine: During your training, you will get to know all areas of transfusion medicine. You learn comprehensive immunohaematological diagnostics for the care of patients with blood products. With advanced training active participation in medical reputation as well as in the advice of hospitals as part of quality assurance hemotherapy. As a specialist in transfusion medicine: You are responsible for medical care as a specialist. After successful incorporation, you take responsibility for a functional area of the institute (e.g. laboratory or production).

You have completed medical studies and a German medical approval. Cooperation with people gives you great pleasure A high level of readiness is obvious to you. You are interested in constantly developing and participating in further education and training. You bring knowledge of the common computer applications as well as commitment and interest in a modern medical field with Doctor in further education: At least 1.5 years of clinical experience in a specialist area recognised for continuing training (WBO: stationary patient care, laboratory medicine). Specialist in transfusion medicine: You have a completed specialist training in transfusion medicine.
