Scientist (x|w|m) for Strategic Collaborations – Hybrid

For Advanced BioAnalytics we are looking for a scientist (x|w|m) for Strategic Collaborations for Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this role, you make a decisive contribution to the identification, development, application and integration of new microscopy/image technologies, bioprocess technology and advanced cell models for the growing bioanalytical portfolio of Sartorius through strategic external cooperation. The team is looking forward to shaping the future with you. The job is full-time and takes place day-by-day remote as well as on campus in Göttingen.

Identification, development, support and management of relationships with external partners focusing on the design, development and testing of next-generation nuclear technologies Strategic research and development, as well as transfer of spectroscopic technologies for live cell imaging, cytometry, and cultivation of workflows and other related technologies as a basis for the further development of current and future bioanalytical products from Sartorius Conception, research and support for the development of prototype technologies up to the concept Close cooperation with the Sartorius product management and development team to define priorities for technology research areas that go beyond the current product roadmaps Collecting, analyzing and defining requirements for system functionality Instruction and supervision of technical personnel in the production of advanced cell models Support or guidance of the technical support team and the R&E team for the transfer of developed and/or acquired technologies to the Sartorius product development or OEM organisations as required

You have a PhD in Life Science or another closely related field with comprehensive formal education and experience in bioanalytics and 3D cell systems You have extensive experience in coordinating academic projects in which academic and industrial partners are brought together. You will also gain experience in cooperation with several partners in R&E projects with You have good knowledge of current developments in live cell imaging, spectroscopic imaging and cytometry technologies You have the ability to communicate with experts from biological fields and engineering disciplines mechanics (hardware, flow technology, thermal), electrical, software, sensor technology (optics, electronics) and chemistry You have pronounced analytical, mathematical and problem-solving competencies, a high self-initiative and result orientation, as well as the ability to work constructively in the team You like to work in complex topics and master this extremely well Flowing German and English skills, as well as an occasional readiness (25%) complete your profile
