Senior PLC Software Developer - Codesys / Control Engineering (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the new and further development of our software platform with Codesys V3 and program sophisticated SPS applications in Structured Text (ST). You design and optimize intelligent control algorithms for biological processes and perform the fine tuning of control circuits (e.g. PID) directly to the customer systems. You accompany commissioning, analyze complex software problems and provide technical support for our customers – remotely as well as for occasional operations on site. As a technical expert, you act as a central contact for our customers and work closely with process engineering, electrical design and project management. You ensure the high quality of our software through systematic testing as well as the production of technical documentation and carry out final collections.

This will bring you completed studies in the field of computer science, software technology or a comparable qualification; applicants with well-founded practical experience and corresponding expertise are also welcome. Multiannual professional experience in PLC programming. Very good knowledge of Codesys V3. Experience with Structured Text (ST). Good knowledge of control technology and experience with PID controllers. Joy in solving technical challenges independently. Very good knowledge of German in word and writing. Good knowledge of English for communication with international customers. Ready for occasional missions. This is an advantage Experience in plant engineering, process automation or water/water technology. Knowledge in Siemens TIA Portal. Knowledge in C/C++. Experience in the field of process control systems or visualization. Interest in modern technologies such as data-based optimization or AI.
