The Research and Transfer department is assigned to the Vice-Rector for Research, Scientific Careers and Transfer and supports it in the successful implementation of the university's research strategy, the implementation of the Excellence Strategy, as well as in higher-level research questions and projects. In addition, the department supports researchers from all disciplines of the University professionally and service-oriented in the recruitment of third-party funds and technology transfer with its four units. Development of a university-wide strategy for framework conditions to promote outstanding researchers of early career stages (e.g. acquisition, qualification, binding, environment) Analysis and further development of existing funding instruments, structures and processes in interaction with existing actors at the University Integration of adjacent topics such as profile formation, transfer, infrastructure, allies/networks and international competitiveness derivation, implementation and evaluation of first pilot measures Support in implementing the Excellence Strategy at the University of Hohenheim as part of the Excellence and Research Strategy Unit Coordination of coordination processes between central institutions, faculties and the Vice-Rectorate for Research Monitoring and analysis of national and international developments in scientific career paths

Completed academic studies, preferably with doctorate Very good understanding of structures, framework conditions and career paths in the scientific system Experience in strategic work, ideally in science management or university development Designed analytical and conceptual skills and the ability to prepare complex topics structured and targeted Strong organizational skills Very good communication and coordination capabilities Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
