Head of Production Planning & Work Scheduling (m/f/d)

You report to the factory manager who reports directly to the management You take over the production planning as a central cycle direction operations and continuously develop department and processes: At eye level with the production area managers, you provide the binding capacity specifications at which the production areas align in the implementation You translate the customer requirements communicated through sales and order management into specific production orders and understand yourself as a link between customer requirements and production You guide the area and your team (total of 8 employees) professionally and disciplinefully and continuously develop it You recognize the need for multi-working or additional layers in the production areas at an early stage and introduce them into the weekly demand and capacity meeting with management and all stakeholders, where jointly decided As a business process owner, you take responsibility for our SAP PP/DS processes, continuously develop system landscape and planning processes and ensure high master data quality You take over short-term order formation and operational bottleneck management and develop long-term planning and control systems for capacity and material needs You carry out scenario and simulation planning (e.g. what-wheat-if-analysis) You ensure the availability of materials and optimize our planning processes You agree with the SAP VC team on time requirements and capacity data that flow into planning You work closely with production, purchasing, logistics, quality and development and agree with internal and external SAP consultants You are responsible for central KPIs such as schedule, delivery reliability to our customers, throughput times, resource utilization, stocks and setup times

Extensive experience in production planning as well as in transition with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS, MES and ideally Celonis Understanding production planning strategies in line with portfolio and network structures Know-how in capacity control, order release and KPI management Analytical, Structured Thinking Communication strength and enforcement capability Safe occurrence and negotiation skills in exchange with Heads of Division and Management English language skills
