Senior PLC programmer (m/w/d)

Our client is part of an internationally operating group for industrial process solutions with approx. 700 employees, more than 35 sales and service offices and production sites in Asia, Europe and North America. The company employs nearly 200 employees in Germany and is the market leader in the development, production and installation of process engineering facilities for various industries. The product and service portfolio includes advanced process solutions that require a deep knowledge of customer production processes in a variety of industries. As a key technology in industrial automation, PLC programming has a central role in controlling corresponding machines and systems, which is why our client also sets the highest quality standards in this area. In the course of further professionalization in this respect, we are looking for a dedicated personality (m/w/d) for the position of the Fellbach site at the next possible time Senior SPS Programmer (m/w/d).

The future job owner (m/w/d) will be responsible for the programming and commissioning of the plants. In this context, you create PLC and visualization programs and customize them as required within the respective projects. In doing so, you analyze customer requirements, develop customized software solutions and manage the commissioning of the systems both in-house and on-site customers (worldwide). The continuous monitoring and integration of program-related innovations (e.g. through AI) as well as the training of the operating personnel are also part of your extremely varied portfolio of tasks.

The position addresses candidates (m/w/d) with completed technical studies, technical training or a comparable qualification. Based on this, the future job owner has substantial practical experience in the production, commissioning and optimization of FU/Servo drive applications with Siemens SINAMICS (G120 and S120), which has ideally been acquired in industrial machine and plant engineering. Experience in testing, operating and optimising machine controls is expected as well as knowledge in handling industrial networks (e.g. Profinet, Industrial Ethernet). Personally, you are convinced by independent and self-responsible operation with high implementation and solution competence. You are also helpful, communicative and will be happy to take responsibility within a team or will always proceed with a good example.
