The Archdiocese of Paderborn is looking for a Archit (m/w/d) in the Archdiocese of General Vicariat.

At the next possible time, we strive for the permanent employment with a weekly working time of 39 hours. The activity can also be carried out part-time. The property strategy of the archbishop aims to change and reduce building space. It aims to adapt the building stock to the needs and minimise the risks related to the operation and maintenance of the buildings. This necessary transformation offers the opportunity to implement innovative pastoral ideas, to stimulate sustainable use concepts for a sustainable community life and to establish targeted priorities. In this process, the parishes are supported by an interdisciplinary advisory team of experts from the fields of pastoral services, finance and construction in the development of forward-looking real estate concepts. Your tasks:

• Advise and support the parishes in implementing the real estate strategy in the sense of the future picture and the diocese process "Erzbistum Paderborn 2030+"
• illustrating, adapting and further developing the real estate strategy as well as strategic accompanying and supporting the owners on site
• Coordinating and guiding regular rounds of votes and making decisions taking into account pastoral theological, structural and economic aspects
• Developing creative, structurally useful concepts for adapting the building stand or innovative and sustainable solutions for a multifunctional use of church-based real estate in an interdisciplinary competence team

Your profile:

• They have a completed academic degree (Applied Science/Master/ Diploma) in the field of architecture or a comparable qualification with a clear focus on architecture and design
• They bring very good knowledge and practical experience in the application of relevant regulations (LBO, VOB, HOAI, DIN) as well as in project work with
• They have communication strength and empathy for the comprehensible presentation of complex issues as decision support on the ground, as well as a structured way of working as well as analytical thinking and a high team capacity
• You have a class B driving licence and flexible working hours, including in the evening and service trips within the archbishop do not pose a problem for you
• They bring a positive basic attitude and openness to the Gospel message and can identify themselves with the aims and values of the Catholic Church
