Together for excellence. As an RD/EBE (Electronics/Electronics System & Hardware) we deliver technologically leading EE systems with premium series quality into Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Our RD/EBE department is responsible for the development of electric/electronic volumes and the system design of the Mercedes-Benz HV batteries. Motivation: Always higher requirements require increasing components and higher costs The aim is to design and integrate components into one another and to combine them The aim is to increase robustness and reduce costs Life test requires >6 months to test end The aim is to carry out the life test on E/E compartment level to gain time These challenges include: 3D design and approval for PMU in NX, Emerald, Engineering Client Coordination for internal tests bsp. E/E PTCE, corrosion test, screw tests (installation plan, coordination with laboratory, documentation of test results, etc.) Evaluation Building and connecting technologies Increased robustness by combining the interfaces Research from the prior art bsp.A2MAC etc. Reduction of components by integration The activity can begin from June 2026.

At best you bring: Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree programme Experience in writing technical documentation Safe handling of MS Office Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Basic knowledge of design programs primarily Siemens NX Self-safe and communicative appearance, as well as fun in constructive cooperation with employees of various disciplines Commitment and team skills Analytical thinking and strategic working Embossed technical and physical basic understanding Nice to have: Experience in the construction of simple electrical circuits Experience in design programs primarily Siemens NX Experience in the field of simulation FEM, CFD Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
