Within the "Healthcare" department, you will become part of our 10-member team "Personal Data Ecosystems". Here we design the data-driven health care of the future and ensure that groundbreaking data spaces keep the entry into the healthcare system.

• Designing innovative digital health projects: Together with us, you work on pioneering research and development projects in the field of digital health and make an important contribution to digitalization in healthcare.
• Conception and development of modern IT architectures: You design, evaluate and document solutions and components architectures for health IT infrastructures. The aim is to design secure data processing spaces and data ecosystems and to implement the principles of European initiatives such as EHDS, Gaia-X and IDSA.
• Requirement analysis and solution development: In close coordination with partners from the medical environment, you carry out requirements and risk analyses, develop architectural models and design tailor-made IT solutions for the different needs of the healthcare sector.
• Coordination of projects: You support our international research projects professionally and coordinate the implementation of data space components along the developed concepts and customer requirements.
• Scientific Communication: Last but not least, you will be able to prepare project results in an appealing manner and bring them closer to the public and scientific communities through publications and specialist events.

What you bring

• A scientific degree (Master / Diploma) in Medical Informatics, Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, Medical Technology or a comparable discipline
• Experiences in the design, coordination and implementation of software architectures and the development of requirements
• First practical experiences with DevOps methods and software development (e.g. Java) are of advantage
• Fun at work in a research-oriented environment and desire to work in trends and technologies in the field of healthcare IT (e.g. EHDS, HL7 FHIR) as well as the European data strategy with the help of secure data processing rooms (SPEs) and data ecosystems
• A communicative, team-oriented and careful working style as well as pronounced conceptual skills
• Good German and English for cooperation in national and international projects
