Our West power plant group at the Gelsenkirchen site is looking for you!

Head of the “Quality & Performance” area with active implementation of the Uniper Declaration of Principles on Health, Safety of Work, Corporate Security, Environmental Protection (HSSE) & Sustainability Supporting and motivating management of the Quality & Performance team (team of 16 employees) Ensuring the necessary level of training and the specialist maintenance of the associated employees Management of legal regulations, regulatory approvals, internal and external instructions and regulations Creation of hazard analyses in the responsible area Monitoring and safeguarding the regulatory, organisational, accounting and management frameworks of the power plant operation Leading initiation of application and approval procedures in consultation with the relevant central bodies in the company Organisation of the necessary processes for legal compliance Management of environmental events Organisation of necessary processes for monitoring and balancing technical efficiency, heat consumption and greenhouse gas emissions Organisation of the necessary processes and interfaces for commercial, personal and accounting functions of the company Organisation and maintenance of necessary support functions for infrastructure and administration including internal and external reporting Coordination of the performance of the tasks of the operational delegates with environmental protection tasks (i.e. water protection officer, immission protection officer, waste officer, hazardous goods officer, hazardous material officer) including their appointment and consideration of expertise Ensuring a right-wing system documentation including development and maintenance of relevant manuals (BOHB, NSHB, etc.) Care and preparation of the area of related operating and process instructions Leading organisation of activities to obtain, maintain and maintain relevant management systems and certifications Ensuring the energy assessments of plants, in particular for plant changes Working with the creation and compliance of the site budget Participation in the standby service according to annual plan

Completed university education in a technical or scientific field Experience in the disciplinary leadership of employees Impressed social skills Experience in licensing processes and dealing with authorities Knowledge of environmental management and sustainability issues Very good knowledge of German and English Strategic thinking, empathy, sense of responsibility and integrity Teamability and interest in constructive feedback and error culture
