DevSecOps Engineer (m/f/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With more than 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, we are concerned about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Projektmanager (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at one of our BWI locations. Shared Service Delivery (SSD) is responsible for service design, service development and provision of all end-user, data centers & cloud infrastructure as well as BWI service communication services. It provides predominantly standardized service solutions for customers. Shared service delivery is an integral part of the CDO and is therefore crucially responsible for the common objectives and measures. Our incentive is maximum operational stability and high customer satisfaction. The SSD PoD2 C&P Cloud Team 1 and Cloud Team 2 departments are responsible for the architecture, development and provision of the private cloud for the customer and provide standardized services.

Management and operation of complex Kubernetes based environments

Development in the architecture of complex environments

With development and operation of safe container image lifecycles incl. Procurement, CVE scanning, curing, release and delivery in Kubernetes based environments

Development and operation on an observability platform (monitoring, logging, tracing)

Co-responsibility of CI/CD Pipelines

Ensuring compliance and auditability of all components used

Strong focus on safety

Complete IT-related study of computer science, business informatics, comparable MINT courses or comparable training

At least 5 years of Kubernete experience

At least 5 years of CI/CD experience

At least 5 years of experience in cloud operation (on-premise / public cloud)

At least 5 years Secrets Management Experience

Very good knowledge in the following areas: Kubernete's security, building high-availability and fail-safe solutions / environments, building high-availability and fail-safe solutions / environments, Containerimage Hardening & CVE Scanning, Security Auditing & Compliance, Logging, Observability, Identity Management & Backup solutions
