The traditional Johannesbad Society is a long-established and very successful sponsor of specialist and rehabilitation clinics at 10 locations in Germany. In NRW, the family-run group operates the Johannesbad Kliniken Fredeburg GmbH with four facilities. In total, the clinics Fredeburg employ 350 employees. In addition to the administration, there are 20 doctors (including 6 doctors), 11 psychological psychotherapists, 32 psychologists in training, 17 ergotherapists, 8 physiotherapists, 51 nurses and others.

The „Fachklinik Hochsauerland“ in Schmallenberg is the well-known specialist clinic for psychosomatics with more than 200 single rooms and annually 1.645 patients. The focus of treatment of the Hochsauerland specialist clinic is depression and bipolar disorders (an increasing indication in recent years), anxiety and panic disorders, Borderline Personality Disorders, somatoforme Disorders, Mental Disorders in Physical Diagnosis, Anorexia/Bulimie, Eating Disorders and Obesity, Chronic Pain Disorders, Pathological Binding Disorders, PTBS Therapy offers: medical treatments, psychotherapy, design/ergotherapy, social counselling/sociotherapy, dietary therapy/dietics, physiotherapy, medical training therapy MTT, sports/movement therapy (e.g. archery), measures of professional reintegration (MBOR).

• Individually responsible psychiatric & psychotherapeutic care of patients in a multi-professional team

• Upper medical responsibility for the medical care of the assigned patients in accordance with the requirements of the therapy concept

• Training and guidance of secondary doctors

• After intensive training, the representation of the chief physician

• Development and development of treatment concepts

• Participation in background services

• Complete specialist training or specialist training for psychiatry & psychotherapy

• You are involved in the professional supervision and training of our assistant physicians
