They teach and research innovative manufacturing technologies in medical technology and mechanical engineering. They can provide the regulators and laws for medical devices as well as the associated production and process chains in a practical manner. In these teaching areas you can focus on your own; They are also ready to teach basic subjects in mechanical engineering. In research, you can introduce your topics into our research centres and groups and implement them in an interdisciplinary manner. In addition to the further development of study programs in the Faculty of Technology, they contribute to the expansion of our company and research network. They serve students individually and actively and are present at the university. They actively participate in the academic self-government and in the team of the degree program and the faculty.

A completed university degree and a relevant doctorate. Influential professional practice in the development, production and approval of medical devices and components, ideally with leadership experience. Very good educational skills, especially in dealing with heterogeneous teaching situations. Use of innovative teaching methods such as project-oriented learning. High practical relevance of teaching content through integration of current developments from industry. The willingness to conduct courses also in English. Intercultural competence, initiative and enthusiasm to be part of a dynamic and committed team. Publications in relevant journals and proven third-party funding projects in the written topics are desirable.
