The Corporate Procurement section advises internal customers on all questions concerning business needs. We are working not only for the OTTO individual company, but also for many corporate subsidiaries. The range of tasks ranges from the specification of a need, supplier talks, to tenders and the negotiation of strategic partnerships with suppliers. The Corporate Procurement achieves the best possible prices with reliable, contractually secured services by bundling the needs, alternative solution proposals and strategic negotiations. Many speak of “Homeoffice” – we of “hybrid or mobile work”: You can work remotely up to 50% of your monthly working hours. Our teams, together with their leadership, decide how to balance out local time and mobile work.

You will learn about the strategic purchasing of logistical and location-oriented topics. For example, you will get deep insights into the freight and facility management services for our locations in Europe. You support large parts of operational and strategic tasks, such as preparing and implementing tenders, and also take over smaller projects with the purchasing team and the specialist areas. You are in direct contact with colleagues and service providers. Through your analysis, you bring transparency into the shopping data and support the purchasing team in data consolidation and processing. You question existing processes and processes and introduce yourself and your ideas. You have the option to support and manage negotiations with the service providers. Must-have: You are a registered student*in with an economic focus, logistics background or you are in your Gap Year between Bachelor and Master. You can structure yourself and your tasks very well and always work reliably. You are communicative and have fun in new challenges. You can now support us for 5-6 months. Your language level: German C1 and English B1. Nice-to-have: You have ideally been able to gain first practical experience in the world of work. You are interested in topics related to shopping.
