To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a Welder / Metallbauer (m/w/d). The focus of the activity is on welding work, metal processing and the production, repair and adaptation of steel and mechanical engineering parts for our production facilities.

Tasks

Welding work: Conducting various welding work on machines, plants, steel structures and operating equipment. The main focus is on repairs, reinforcements, rebuilds and new productions.

Construction of steel and metal structures: Manufacture, adaptation and assembly of constructions, mounts, frames, protective devices, enclosures and other components according to the drawing, pattern or arrangement.

Repair of mechanical parts: Welding and repair of damaged or worn machine and plant components.

Metal processing: performing cutting, grinding, drilling, sawing and adaptation work as well as preparation of the workpieces for further processing and assembly.

Configuration and adjustment of spare parts: Production and processing of simple spare parts, wear and construction parts for our machines and production plants.

Assembly and conversion work: Support in the assembly, disassembly, expansion and technical optimization of our machines and production facilities.

Maintenance and maintenance: Support for mechanical maintenance, repair and maintenance work on plastic shredder systems, conveyor technology and other equipment.

Suggestion and troubleshooting: Detection of mechanical damage and support in the rapid and professional elimination of machine defects.

Production support: Close cooperation with machine operators and management with necessary repairs, rebuilds and technical improvements.

Safety of work: Safe and responsible handling of welding equipment, machines and tools as well as compliance with all applicable work and safety regulations.

Your profile

• Complete vocational training as a welder, metal builder, construction mechanic, locksmith, factory locksmith or in a comparable metalworking profession.
• As an alternative, an entry with a corresponding practical experience in the field of welding and metalworking is also possible.
• Good practical knowledge and professional experience in welding.
• Experience in MAG welding is particularly desirable.
• Further knowledge, for example in MIG or WIG welding, is advantageous.
• Safe handling of typical tools and machines of metalworking.
• Ability to implement designs and repair solutions independently according to specifications, patterns or drawings.
• Craft skills and good technical understanding.
• Experience in machine or plant engineering or in industrial maintenance is advantageous.
• Self-employed, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation.
• Reliability, sense of responsibility and team capacity.
• readiness to react flexibly in urgent machine repairs.
