Conduct and management of the test and validation team as well as the associated product validation processes, including field tests, with the aim of ensuring a consistently high quality of components and machines in international use. The introduction of modern validation methods such as DVP&R, DV/PV testing based on analytical methods (e.g. SN curves, Wöhler lines according to DIN 50100, ALT, Reliability & Confidence methods) is one of your main tasks. Through targeted component tests based on design FMEAs, you can achieve early product reliability. The development and implementation of efficient test strategies, e.g. through statistical experimental planning (DoE) and accelerated life tests (ALT) make you great fun. The evaluation and potential implementation of a laboratory accreditation is one of your goals. In close cooperation with development, project management and quality assurance, you agree to tests with release and project plans. They analyze and evaluate test results and provide technical support to the validation team. The professional and disciplinary leadership of the validation team is your responsibility. You take on personnel responsibility for a team of about 8 employees (engineers and technicians) including individual promotion and further development of the team members. The ongoing observation and evaluation of new test methods and trends for the continuous optimization of validation processes is part of your task spectrum. Creating and maintaining test plans, DVP&Rs as well as structured documentation and reporting of test results is part of your varied everyday life. Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, safety and quality standards in the field of testing and validation is also part of this.

You have a degree (Bachelor, Master, Dipl. Ing.) successfully completed in the field of technology or physics. First experience in the field of laboratory management (Mechatronic) will bring you with. You could also gain leadership experience. We would like to know more about DVP&R, DV/PV testing based on analytical methods (e.g. SN curves, Wöhler lines according to DIN 50100, ALT, Reliability & Confidence methods) and DoE. They have fun working with the fields of product development (mechanics, electrical engineering, software, hardware), quality assurance, production, product management and service as well as with external partners.
