As a locomotive driver: in track work vehicles you support the track construction teams in repair work of the road at various construction sites in your region. At the closest possible time, we are looking for you as a cross-release:to the locomotive driver:in railway work vehicles (w/m/d) for the regional repair of DB InfraGO AG at Esslingen am Neckar or Kaiserslautern. This is what awaits you in retraining: The retraining takes about 8 months and takes place in full time (39 hours/week). It is composed of theoretical and practical lessons You first learn all practical knowledge in track construction. After that you get the driver's license for the operation of the two-way excavator The qualification takes place at one of our locations (Berlin, Duisburg, Chemnitz, Nuremberg). The place of work after qualification is Esslingen or Kaiserslautern You get a modern training, including using simulators and tablets After your retraining, you take the following activities: You are responsible for the safe and proper operation of track work vehicles such as two-way excavators and other guided construction machines in the field of track construction and civil engineering Construction work, such as inspection, maintenance and repair work on the track systems (e.g. rails, sleepers, track beds), will be carried out together with your team The work begins and ends at your central support point, where all the necessary materials and vehicles are placed, so you will be deployed every day close to your home

Your profile: You bring complete vocational training, ideally in the industrial-technical field, for example as a track builder:in, road builder:in, construction mechanic:in, industrial mechanic:in and have experience in operating excavators or other construction equipment Enthusiasm for the track infrastructure you bring and the work in the team is fun You are at least 20 years old and willing to prove your medical and psychological suitability for the service (the suitability is tested by an operating physician as part of the recruitment) The readiness for shiftwork (spring, late, weekend, holiday work) as well as a class B driver's license are brought along.
