About us: At the Med X company for medical expertise, our team is growing case management. Our strength is the technical expertise, a large part of our 200 employees are specialists from all areas of the healthcare system. With offices in Hamburg and Dortmund, we are active in the healthcare system in care management and in the hospital billing check. The aim of our comprehensive case management (Case Management) is to enable our customers' insurers, i.e. private health insurance, the best possible medical treatment in acute, severe illnesses, as well as in planned operations, in order to quickly restore their health or to avoid negative illnesses. This is done by means of an indication or care-oriented patient guidance from economic considerations. Become part of our team as a case manager, which accompanies the insured persons personally (telephone) and individually at the interface between the cost providers and the medical care. We are looking for a case manager for strengthening our teams at the next possible time for our office in Dortmund or Hamburg: in part-time (30 hours) or in full-time.

Your tasks:

• The focus of the task is the individual support of insured persons with acute, severe illnesses as well as for planned operations over all phases of stationary and outpatient treatment.
• Advice on specialist clinics and optimisation of post-stationary outpatient care.
• Empathic communication with all relevant contact persons (customers/patients, relatives, legal advisors, social services, doctors, therapists etc.) – by phone and in writing.
• In all services, besides the technical characteristics of insurance, you check the cost-effectiveness of the measures and provide services of our cooperation partners as required.

• Qualification: You have completed vocational training in a medical profession.
• IT knowledge: The safe handling of MS Office is of course for you.
• Know-how: You have a strong interest in medical and conceptual issues. You have a communicative skill to interact with various interlocutors and are in writing able to formulate information clearly and precisely.
• Your personality: You are responsible, responsive and resilient.
