Educator + group leader in the elementary sector in a small family kindergarten with Waldorf orientation

The Kinderkreis 52 e. V. is a small, lovingly guided kindergarten in Hamburg (Groß Flottbek/Othmarschen). For over 50 years, our parent initiative has been a non-profit association and offers children a protected space for growing and discovering. We serve an elementary group (about 22 children) as well as a crib group (max. 8 children from 1.5 years old). Our educational work focuses on Waldorf and Montessoripädagogik in many areas: A rhythmically designed daily, weekly and annual run with recurring rituals gives the children security, orientation and inner security. In the free and guided game, in small projects and creative activities, we accompany each child on his individual development path – supported by a waldorf-oriented human image. We are currently redesigning our elementary team in the course of a generation change. This gives a special opportunity: Since a further place is occupied in perspective, a change to two – as a already played team – is also welcome.

Educational management of the elementary group (children from 3 to 6 years) Responsive care and support of children and promoting their physical, mental and psychological development Design of a loving, stimulating and rhythmically structured group everyday Pre-school work with artisanal and creative focus in the sense of Waldorf education Active participation in the rebuilding of the elementary team in the course of the change of generation Close, trusting cooperation with parents, including development talks Planning and implementation of festivals and events Monitoring and documentation of group work (observation sheets, development reports) Instruction and professional support of interns:inside, BFD and FSJ forces (if available) Contact person:in for external departments (e.g. early funding, advisory bodies) Use of Kita software Kigana (service planning, holiday and disease management)

Completed training as an educator:in (or comparable qualification) Experience in a line function Availability in full time within our core service hours (8:00–14:30) + the weekly conference on Wednesday from 15 to 17:30 Interest in Waldorf and/or Montessoripädagogik Knowledge of Hamburg's educational recommendations Creativity, flexibility and joy in working with children Openness and commitment in cooperation with parents and college cordiality, sense of responsibility and team spirit
