IT Application Support Specialist - Focus on SAP HCM

You take over the system support and care of the SAP HCM module as well as the SAP FI-TV module (travel management), our training portal “imc Learning Suite” and our application management solution “BITE applicant managers” for optimal support of the personal processes. You analyze requirements from central and decentralized organizational units of the university, assess their technical feasibility and implement them by customizing as well as independent developments. You advise the departments in optimizing and redesigning processes with the aim of efficient, service-oriented and IT-based imaging. You develop and expand extensive reports and forms using the ABAP SAP programming language as well as Adobe Forms. You plan, coordinate and carry out updates and release changes of supervised applications. You analyze malfunctions and errors within the support and ensure a sustainable problem solution. You create user documentation and support the implementation of training.

You have a successfully completed study of (economic) informatics, business management with IT focus or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you will bring relevant training with several years of practical experience in customizing and in the care of application systems. You have well-founded knowledge in SQL as well as a good understanding of relational databases. You are waiting with extensive IT knowledge in the fields of software development, application administration, databases and web technologies, as well as a technical understanding and high IT-technical problem solving competence. Ideally, you have already gained several years of professional experience in handling SAP HCM systems. You work structured, independent and result-oriented and have a pronounced analytical ability to think. You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least level C1). Teamability, service orientation and a clear and address-oriented communication capability complete your profile.
