Technical employee or Technical Assistant (w/m/d) at the Institute of Sports Science (IfS) in the Faculty of Human Sciences

(Accompanied to pay group 8 TVöD) for the IT and technical support of the institute will be sought in full or part-time from 01.07.2025. The University of the Bundeswehr Munich offers a research environment of state-of-the-art technology that is leading in various disciplines throughout Germany. We are a team that can look back on many years of experience in these activities and at the same time provide the necessary space for independent work to each team member. The IfS is active in the fields of health and performance in sport both in teaching and research and has a state-of-the-art sports science laboratory equipped with the latest technology.

Your tasks:

• Establishment and administration of job-related IT systems (including hard and software support); Pressure-eradministration, ensuring the interoperability of the systems, maintaining the IT concept)
• Subnet administration (VLAN; WLAN; Shares etc.) for the IfS
• Administrative support in the procurement, repair and extraction of hardware and software, components, instruments, apparatus and consumables
• Participation in updating and further development of the website
• Supporting the Campus Management System "HISinOne" to ensure the teaching operation (including space booking, checking the topicality of the data)
• Ensuring IT-assisted laboratory infrastructure (including support for installations, maintenance, maintenance and minor repairs)
• Technical support in the office and lab organization and in the implementation of conferences & conferences

  Qualification requirements:

• relevant completed vocational training as an IT system electronic or electronic, information electronics or information electronics, specialist informatics or specialist in the field of system integration or digital networking or comparable vocational training
• German language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework for Reference
• professional experience in the handling and application of IT-supported systems and their interoperability
• sound user knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
