On behalf of atomic regulators, you as an expert (w/m/d) examine issues of radiation protection and/or nuclear technology. In this context, they shall draw up reports, opinions and audit reports on the operation, changes and the rebuilding of nuclear installations, including camps for radioactive substances, and the handling of radioactive substances and their disposal. The answering of licensing issues and the evaluation of radiation protection measures including measurement technology monitoring is one of your tasks. On behalf of customers from medicine, industry and science, you evaluate radiation protection issues, in particular for the design and operation of radionuclide laboratories, nuclear medical facilities and industrial applications of radioactive substances. Depending on the qualification, you carry out leak tests on radioactive substances and/or testing of plants for the production of ionizing radiation and irradiation devices in the medical or technical field. They conduct audits and recurring audits. Depending on the professional experience, you will continue your expert career as a senior expertr (w/m/d) or you will start your career as a junior expertr (w/m/d) and learn about a structured training program from our experienced mentors.

Completed university studies in physics, medical physics, radiochemistry or another engineering or technical field First experience in radiation protection or nuclear technology A recognized specialist S 4.2 or S 6.3 according to the technical science directive technology according to radiation protection regulations would be advantageous.
