• Identify, analyze and manage market risks in Unipers portfolios, focusing on gas, LNG and new raw materials.

• Work desk-facing, discuss with and independently challenge traders and trade management in new transactions, investments and strategies.

• Participate in the approval of complex and large transactions.

• Guided deal analyses, including the independent assessment of overlooked risks, tune hedging strategies and write concise decision-making aids.

• Finally inform the upper management for formal approval or veto.

• Analyze trade data efficiently, draw feasible conclusions and ensure correctness and completeness.

• Design tools to support.

• contribute to a holistic risk awareness and the promotion of risk management throughout the company. Support the calibration of our pricing models; work with the team for quantitative methods in evaluating the suitability of price and risk models. Work with relevant groups to fix essential deficiencies. Understand front-to-end processes and work effectively at all levels of the organization to master challenges, promote dialogue and advance cooperation.

• Background in risk management, preferably with experience in energy markets.

• Previous experience in a similar role.

• Ability to exchange balanced and independent with an international and multicultural team.

• Commercially oriented person with strong focus on accuracy of information and attention for details.

• Strong analytical, communication and explanation skills; Ability to compress messages from large records.

• Flowing in English.
