Media and Stakeholder Communication Officer for the Search for a Repository - Region East/Central (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the construction and establishment of the Regional Office Ost/Mitte in Halle (Saale). After publication of the proposal for location regions for over-day exploration at the end of 2027 / early 2028, you are responsible for moving the regional office to a location region. You are responsible for regional stakeholder management and monitor and analyze regional developments, moods and discourses with relevance for BGE. You represent the BGE at regional network events and are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local and regional stakeholders, in particular municipalities, political decision-makers, social groups and media, are also part of your task. In addition, you support the response of enquiries from the Citizenship (by phone, by email, on site). You are responsible for the regional press and public relations work, write and edit press releases as well as editorial contributions to the BGE website and the Socia Media channels and answer media requests. You design, organize and moderate information and dialogue events in the region, give lectures, take on external missions at trade fairs as well as other formats of civil communication, even in the evening and at weekends, and are responsible for building and maintaining contacts with media representatives as well as the documentation and evaluation of media and regional stakeholders.

You have completed academic studies preferably in the field of media management, communications, media, politics or social sciences or in a comparable field. You bring multi-year professional experience in communication, ideally focusing on project communication, direct press and civil communication and public relations. The comprehensible, clear and professionally precise communication of complex content as well as the holding of lectures are easy for you. You have experience in addressing and involving different stakeholders and organizing events. Your expertise in dealing with digital media completes your profile. You are convinced through a high level of empathy, communication strength, resilience and fingertip feeling in dealing with different target groups and their opinions and perspectives. through an interest in social issues, in particular in the search for end camps. by the willingness to transfer the workplace to such a location region after the publication of the proposal for location regions for over-day exploration, by the willingness to regular on-site terminals in the East/Mitte and Peine region and by the driving licence class B. through good planning and organisational skills, enforcement capacity, strong team capacity and very good oral and written expressability. with secure knowledge of MS Office standard programs as well as reliable German (C1) and fluent English skills (level B1).
