The subject areas are represented both in teaching and in applied research. With this professorship, the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences strives for the future-oriented development of the central teaching areas Technical mechanics and simulation of multibody systems. We are looking for a personality with a completed university degree in mechanical engineering or with a focus on mechanical engineering and the special capacity for scientific work to be demonstrated by a qualified doctorate in one of the areas mentioned below. In the areas of denomination, you have at least five years of professional practice in development and application, of which at least three years are outside the higher education sector. We expect deep knowledge and relevant professional and scientific experience in the following areas: Mechanical Engineering Modeling and simulation of multibody systems Expanding knowledge and experience in at least one of the following areas are desirable: System simulation in the development of complex mechatronic systems Development and validation of physical models Co-simulation or Simulation of coupled technical systems Inverse kinematic analysis

The place is to be occupied from 01.09.2027 at the Kaiserslautern study site of the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Engineering.
