Working Student - Labour Market Regulation

We occupy a position as Student Research Assistant (gn) in parttime (working time negotiable) at the next time. The contract is limited to 6 months, extensions are possible. Together with Jan Niemczik (ESMT Berlin) and Christian Traxler (Hertie School), you will mainly work on a project on labour market regulations that analyses the impact of minimum wages. The project is part of a new DFG research group in Berlin.

Support in preparing and implementing a field study that requires coordination and communication with various public bodies in Germany and the EU. Support in the legal examination of various project steps (data management and transfer) in the context of German/European data protection requirements. Support in the preparation and analysis of administrative register data.

Student:in with Bachelor degree in Economics, Political Science, or a Law Education. Interest in labour market regulations and their impact. Excellent German language skills. Excellent communication and organization skills. Programming experience (Python, R, Stata) is a plus, but no requirement. Regular attendance in Berlin is required.
