Engineer Wood Technology/Wood Technology as Consultant / Specialist Consultant for the Sawmill Industry (m/f/d)

As a specialist supplier for the sawmill industry, manufacturers and operators advise you on questions of occupational safety. You contribute to the creation of safety requirements and test recommendations for work equipment/plants. In addition to your cooperation in national and international bodies and working groups as well as national and international standardization, you will initiate and accompany development/research projects. With the help of your educational-didactic skill, you will develop publications and specialist events, design them and perform them. In addition, you develop seminars and further training for internal and external target groups, perform them and create fonts and rules. Your team skills are demonstrated in close cooperation with state committees, institutions and associations as well as in DGUV's working groups. We provide you with the necessary technical and methodological skills in the course of a comprehensive 1.5-year introduction into the activity, based on your individual requirements and our training curriculum.

A completed academic degree (Master / Diplom Univ.) preferably in the field of wood technology/wood technology or comparable degree programme Ideally professional experience in sawmill industry Technical understanding of machinery and equipment Class B driving licence Very good knowledge of German language (min. language level GER C1) Good technical knowledge of English (min. GER B2) readiness to frequent, also multi-day, missions Your creativity in solving complex questions and your interest in multidisciplinary scientific topics will be yours in addition to your strong communication skills.

An unlimited contract of employment in full time, the possibility of parttime is generally given and is examined if appropriate applications are available.
