We are looking for a social pedagogue / a social pedagogue with clinic experiences for the specialist management of the social service on campus Lübeck. The social service is a central part of our patient care: As a social supplement to medical and nursing treatment, we introduce differentiated social interventions – where illness suddenly changes a lot: social, financial or family. With accurate advice, professional coordination and targeted support, we ensure that care does not end at the clinic door. As part of legal redundancy management, we organize care, initiate appropriate assistance and make transitions – in rehabilitation, care, outpatient offers or home – safe, structured and responsible. As a social service manager, you will give the team a professional direction, create reliable structures and ensure that social services expertise arrives where it is needed – close to the stations and in close cooperation with all professional groups. Technical direction of the social service team: day-related coordination, service and holiday planning as well as targeted promotion of your team including Continuing and continuing training Strengthening interdisciplinary cooperation: binding, regular coordination with occupancy coordination, station assistance, nursing team management, medical service, etc. – for clear responsibilities, low-friction procedures and patient control Developing processes: Active participation of the continuous development of the IPK (patient coordination) – including cross-campus exchange with the IPK leadership team at Kiel Campus Ensure quality & Optimize processes: Regular process checks in the team, coordination with IPK department management and specialist management Co-ordination and follow-up: Comprehensive advice on social law issues (SGB I–XII, BGB), information on claims and support in their implementation, development of appropriate assistance and resources, introduction of medical rehabilitation procedures and organisation of stationary/outpatient connection after dismissal

Complete bachelor/master degree in the field of social education, social work or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in clinical social work Ideally line experience in the same or similar function Basic knowledge of applied empirical social research A strong sense of responsibility, high social competence and empathy as well as self-responsibility and organisational ability
