Shift Supervisor Maintenance

As a shift manager*in maintenance, you are responsible for performing preventive maintenance work. You coordinate and guide your team's activities in terms of location and layer-related goals (system availability), continuous improvement and project activities. Your work is characterized by a motivating team spirit based on appreciation, respect and openness. Together with your team, you are working on the achievement of day-to-day operational targets as well as improving technical facilities. Based on your extensive experience, you will guide a technical team from different areas. Be the first contact person*in and create a positive working environment in which your team likes to work and masters its tasks. With your extensive experience in planning inspection and maintenance work, you will meet the right decisions regarding processes and measures in your shift.

Build successful business relationships with external service providers and internal stakeholders and strengthen our network through mutual trust and respect.

Respond to the application of training materials for team development and participate in the recruitment process for new employees.

Your interest in the latest technology and your constant search for innovations ensure a high level of knowledge and work within the department. In- and external training offers you are welcome.

You have proven management experience and bring strong technical skills as well as extensive technical knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanics and automation technology (e.g. industrial and automated logistics systems).

You have extensive experience in control systems (SPS) and related equipment. Training as a mechatronic and further qualifications (e.g. state-tested technicians*) complete your profile.

With your communication strength, you pass your expertise in a comprehensible, sustainable and adapted way to the knowledge level of your colleagues. Your good knowledge of B2 level will simplify the communication in the team.

You use your communication skills to create reports, edit tickets and develop work instructions and documentation for your team.

You effectively identify and tune yourself with external stakeholders, build business relationships, argue from the perspective of the stakeholders and successfully solve problems with them.

You are a team player and are looking forward to working in interdisciplinary teams in the 3-shift system to find the best solutions for our technologies together.

LOCATION: Lahr Our logistics staff ensure that more than 50 million customers in 25 European markets receive smooth and reliable service every day. Zalando today has a growing European logistics network with currently twelve locations in seven countries. In Germany alone, thousands of employees from over 100 nations work at several Zalando logistics locations. The logistics centre in Lahr im Schwarzwald is the youngest of our German locations.
