Training as a chemical laboratory assistant (m/f/d)

Your future team at the Institute for Industrial Safety (IFA) mainly supports the statutory accident insurance providers in scientific and technical questions on occupational safety and health. The various tasks include research, development, investigation of products, operational measurements, consulting and participation in standardization. We look forward to your application!

Your tasks: Varied and challenging tasks await you in the training as a chemical laboratory technician, where you immerse yourself in the analysis, production and investigation of chemical substances. Your tasks include: Planning and implementation of analyses and test series as well as documentation and evaluation of results Application of instrumental, physico-chemical measurement methods for analysis Ensuring compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations Maintenance and maintenance of laboratory equipment and ensuring quality assurance We offer you a practical training that gives you comprehensive insights into our different laboratories. Operational practice is supplemented by over-company courses at the Lülsdorf Chemical Park and the vocational training course at the Goldenberg Europakolleg in Wesseling.

Completion of the general university maturity, professional qualification or upper secondary education Good grades in science subjects, especially chemistry and mathematics Carefulness, accuracy and sense of responsibility Analytical thinking and fun in carrying out experiments Teamability and Communication Strength Good German language skills (at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
