Head of IT Operations / IT Infrastructure for a well-known institution (m/f/d)

In this exciting function, you are responsible for the stable, secure and economical operation of the entire IT infrastructure including network, server, cloud and communication solutions. In doing so, you will lead and develop an IT area with around 30 employees in several teams and strengthen the management and leadership level within the organization. In addition, you focus on a pronounced service orientation within the IT organization. To do this, you control external service providers and providers and ensure efficient, quality-proof performance. You drive the automation of IT service processes and the further development of a service-oriented IT operation. Last but not least, you will implement the strategic IT goals with your team, actively accompany change processes and ensure the continuous operational capability of the organization.

You have a completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable subject. You bring several years of experience in the management of larger IT units or IT infrastructure areas and point with demonstrable expertise in the management of complex IT infrastructure and digitization projects. You have a sound knowledge of modern IT operating models, in particular in the areas of cloud technologies, Microsoft‐365 landscapes, IT service processes and automation. You are characterized by decision strength, change competence and the ability to lead heterogeneous teams through transformation phases. You have a professional appearance against internal and external stakeholders and points with clear communication.
