The Technical Division (TD) is the technical centrepiece of the HPA with more than 600 employees. As an expert for technical port infrastructure, we provide reliable, economical and innovative services in partnership with our customers and ensure that the port is running!

Within the Technical Division, the Competence Center Area bundles expertise in the fields of water management, combatants, environmental technology and demolition. In our unit, we work on building projects with high expertise as well as cross-sectional tasks and take over services for large-scale projects and other customers. The quality assurance as well as the professional training of junior staff and knowledge transfer in the fields we represent are also part of our tasks. Our unit is characterized by a high self-sufficiency rate in planning and expert assessment and the implementation of individual case decisions. In the case of foreign assignments, we provide expertly versed control and quality assurance.

For our field of environmental technology, we are looking for a specialistin who, with her experience and her high expertise, also shows legal procedures for complex waste thematics and old-load situations. You take over the role of the waste management agency as a gateway for all consulting and support requests on waste topics from infrastructure projects and measures. You are also happy to contribute to the further training of future experts in environmental technology. As a consultantin waste disposal & environmental engineering, you will be part of our environmental engineering routine, in the technical exchange at a high level and the development of standards and leaflets.

In your role, you will advise project teams on environmental and waste law issues as well as on requirements from relevant environmental legislation (waste, soil, water). You can check environmental expert reports such as waste management or installation concepts with regard to waste management and waste management as well as soil protection aspects. You are responsible for the documentation obligations according to Replacement building regulations and handling hazardous waste. You are committed to building and maintaining our new fabric flow management system. For the disposal management of the projects, you develop practical and legal solutions taking into account sustainable soil management. You accompany and evaluate demolition and rehabilitation measures from an environmental point of view. In the context of approval processes, you support environmental and waste law issues. You will take care of the design and support of tenders and develop framework contracts for environmental investigations as well as waste disposal and you will be significantly involved in the development of standards and leaflets. The development and maintenance of an internal network of knowledge providers and controllers within the HPA and the specialist authorities as well as the development of objectives and measures to further develop the department complete your task profile.

You have a completed academic degree (Master/Diplom) in the geo-, environmental- or engineering-scientific field with a focus on environmental technology or technical environmental protection. With your experience in soil and groundwater protection as well as in waste management, you will bring profound expertise into our projects. Ideally, you already have practical knowledge in waste management (KrWG, eANV), in the implementation of the coat regulation, in the case of waste remediation, rebuilding planning, work protection (DGUV 101.004), specialist building management. You convince by safe occurrence, communication strength and the ability to convince other solutions developed. Complex problems are addressed analytically and structuredly and always find practical solutions. Self-responsible work is self-evident for you, at the same time you appreciate the work in a professional team and actively brings you in.
