Commercial Pricing Specialist – Truck & Trailer Rental (m/f/d)

You will create price calculations for the rental of trucks, trailers and other commercial vehicles. You process calculation requests from sales and key account management within the Central Region from request to final pricing recommendation. In your calculations, you take into account, among other things, purchase costs, contract periods, residual values, financing costs, service and maintenance costs as well as the desired margin. You evaluate the cost-effectiveness of rental offers and develop competitive, yet profitable price recommendations. You work closely with the Head of Pricing Central Region and support it as a reliable operative response in the daily business. You tune complex or strategically relevant calculations with the Head of Pricing and prepare sound basis for decisions. You're planning and updating costing and price data in Salesforce. You analyse market and competition prices and make specific recommendations for action. You work as an interface with sales, key account management, vehicle purchase and other international areas of expertise.

You have successfully completed a commercial training or an economic study. You have relevant professional experience in the costing and pricing of rental products. Ideally, you have already calculated rental rates for commercial vehicles, vehicles, machines, plants or other capital-intensive products. You understand the economic relationships of rental models and can safely incorporate factors such as contract term, residual value, financing, costs and margin into your calculations. Experience in the field of commercial vehicles, vehicle rental, leasing, fleet management, construction machines or comparable capital goods is particularly welcome. You have a strong numerical understanding and work analytically, carefully and structured. You have very good Excel knowledge and can work safely with extensive costing models and data volumes. Your knowledge of German is reliable, at least on C1 level. You also have very good English skills for cooperation in an international business environment. Experiences with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system are advantageous. You work independently, but at the same time you understand yourself as a reliable Sparring partner and operational support of the Head of Pricing. You communicate safely with different stakeholders and keep track of multiple parallel calculation requests under time pressure.
