We about us:

Educational child and youth protection is part of the Department of Special Social Services of the Office for Youth, Family and Sport. In addition to the educational protection of children and youth and the educational assistance, the department places the subject areas of child protection, adoption and care children as well as youth assistance in criminal proceedings. The department currently has 17 colleagues working in full and part-time. The place in the educational protection of children and youth corresponds directly to the department management.

Your tasks:

· Development and development of the work area Educational protection of children and youth based on § 14 SGB VIII

· Independent development and continuous development of prevention and action concepts for child and youth protection in the Steinburg district

· Advising children and young people, parents and multipliers from child and youth work and social work, institutions and schools; Professionals, organizers, various professionals and target groups on issues of child and youth protection

· Participation in the preparation and implementation of youth protection controls and assistance

· Public relations on the issues of child protection and youth protection and various administrative activities such as compiling statistics, documentation, evaluations and reports on the work of child protection and youth protection

Your profile:

A prerequisite for the job is

· a successfully completed (specialist) university degree (Diplom/Bachelor) to the social pedagogue Social worker*in or in the field of social work in connection with state recognition or
