Construction Manager Technician – Data Center (m/f/d)

In order to strengthen our project and technology team, we are now looking for a construction manager (m/w/d) for demanding projects in the Datacenter environment. Our experts: plan, implement and maintain complex technical security and infrastructure solutions for some of the most modern data centers in Germany. As a design engineer, you play a central role in the successful implementation of these projects – from planning to handover to the customer. As a construction manager (m/w/d) Datacenter, you are responsible for managing, organizing and monitoring our construction and technology projects in the data center environment. In doing so, you control technician teams, coordinate entrepreneurs and ensure that sophisticated technical solutions are implemented efficiently, normally and to the full satisfaction of our customers. Overview of your tasks Management, organisation and monitoring of projects and construction projects in the Datacenter area Control, technical management and operational planning of technician teams and coordination of subcontractors Examination of technical feasibility, resource use, material requirements and execution planning Participation in construction meetings and central interface to the customer on site Control of deviations/points incl. Documentation in tools like ES Office, Bluebeam, PlanRadar Creation and maintenance of technical documents (e.g. line diagrams, attachments, drawings, QM documentation) Programming, commissioning and transfer of technical equipment including Customer training Costing, negotiation and forwarding of additional services to the project management Participation in project planning, scale, billing, sales progress (POC) and quality assurance Ensuring compliance with all normative requirements (DIN, VDE, VdS, VOB, BGB), EHS and Security Policy Implementation of site visits and processing of material returns (RMA) Company representation to customers, partners and internal interfaces

This brings you – must criteria Multiannual professional experience in the realization of larger construction or safety projects, ideally in the Datacenter Complete technical training, ideally technicians or masters Very good knowledge of weak power technology, safety electronics, IT/network technology Experience in project management (planning, control, KPIs, billing) Experience in leadership of teams and subcontractors Structured, independent and solution-oriented mode of operation Strongly pronounced sense of cost and responsibility flowing German knowledge, good English knowledge in word and writing Secure handling of MS Office as well as CAD software (AutoCAD, Visio) Germany-wide readiness to travel Remarkable Knowledge in ERP system ES Office Embossed communication and organisational skills Diplomatic skill and sovereign handling of customers
