Become part of the Vodafone technology team. We are looking for reinforcement for our Team Fixed Planning in the Vodafone Region West at Rehhecke 50 in Ratingen.

As an expert transport network planning (m/w/d), you plan and project large network expansion measures in the transport network (DWDM) as a basis for all access networks (Mobile, Cable, DSL, BSA) in our fiber topologies. You start network expansion strategies as well as planning concepts and control internal and external employees:in the implementation. You analyze the effects on the omission of aggregation sites in the mobile and fixed network, plan the necessary network conversion measures and control the conversion measures for a timely release of the remote location to ensure network integrity. You will begin request analyses and feasibility studies as well as business cases in advance of transport network related measures. You are planning measures in the transport network with regard to E2E performance (latency, bandwidth etc.), costs (CAPEX, OPEX) and quality improvement in close coordination with the other planning groups. You are responsible for creating and reviewing planning requirements and requirements for processes, planning and documentation tools.

A completed technical or scientific study. At least 4 years of experience in network planning and project planning in the TK sector. Very good knowledge of the transport network and the technologies used, detailed knowledge of several of the technologies used in the transport network. Very good knowledge of network infrastructure (fixed networks and mobile networks). Multiannual experience in handling planning tools. Good communicative skills and negotiation security in dealing with customers:inside and partners. English language skills in word and writing (B2 to GER).

This body can be exercised in fulltime or full-time part-time (min. 30 hours).
