Asset Accounting/ Genral Ledger (m/f/d)

Creation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to IFRS and HGB Responsibility for the ongoing accounting of one or more companies (accounting circles) of the Nordzucker Group in Germany Implementation of hedge accounting for sugar, energy and price hedges Takeover of tasks from the main book Responsibility for tasks arising from plant accounting (in particular accounting of investment projects, coordination with project managers from the fields of expertise, collection of plant movements) Regular master data maintenance (in main book and plant accounting) Conting, booking and archiving of booking documents (main and secondary) Implementation and creation of planning for individual legal entities Processing of storage assets (assessment and inventory) Creation of regular reporting and plan-actual comparisons Creation of VAT declarations (including ZM notification) and compilation of all necessary documents for the tax returns for the tax department Processing and analysis of the provisions and current account adjustments Project tasks and continuous process improvements as well as independent implementation of projects Compilation of external statistics and support in creating/ updating existing policies Introduction to non-financial reporting Contact person for auditors

Includes a successfully completed commercial training with the training to the IHK balance sheet holder or equivalent training Owns knowledge of international accounting IFRS/IAS and HGB Ideally, there are relevant professional experience in accounting/main accounting Is experienced in communication with auditors and other external consultants Ideally brings very good user knowledge to MS Office and SAP (FI, CO, S4 Hana) Is a team player and has good communication behavior Has good English knowledge in word and writing
