Portfolio Manager for Energy Procurement (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the operational management and reporting of electricity and gas procurement portfolios as part of defined procurement strategies. As part of predefined strategies, you build energy portfolios, expand and develop them professionally, anticipate and update sales and load forecasts at portfolio level, analyze portfolio deviations and guide appropriate control measures. Economic and scenario analyses are carried out independently. With defined strategies, you control the power and gas portfolios, convert forecasts into positions, adjust the portfolios continuously, identify netting assets and take over transaction processing and documentation. Between sales, trade and risk controlling, you take the interface function and ensure risk-based and coordinated portfolio management. By comparing sales expectations with the quantities purchased, you are taking measures to reduce spot market shares and quantity risks. Regularly formulate performance reports and provide data and results as a basis for controlling, control and decision-making processes. In the framework of predefined strategic and decision limits, you will award and provide proof of origin (certificates) and carry out their coverage.

You have a completed university degree (FH/University) in economics, energy management or a comparable field of expertise. You have good knowledge of the electricity and gas markets as well as energy processes and relationships. The safe handling of MS Office, especially Excel, is natural for you; Knowledge of energy-efficient IT systems is desirable. Ideally, you will bring first practical experience in portfolio management, energy trading or energy management. Analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and a pronounced understanding of numbers are what distinguishes you.
