ONTRAS operates 7,700 kilometers of transmission network in East Germany. We transport natural gas and green gases to our customers, downstream network operators such as municipal works and industrial customers. Over 500 employees bring their know-how to Leipzig headquarters and 12 other locations. Together, we are actively driving the energy transition and transforming our infrastructure into a hydrogen network in the next few years.

For our digital transformation process, we are looking for a dedicated personality for the team IT projects that combines IT competence, architectural thinking and strong social skills and leads projects with clarity, energy and sense of responsibility to success. You guide complex IT and digitization projects holistically - from idea to implementation to sustainable anchoring in operation You actively shape the digital transformation of our company and make a measurable contribution to efficiency improvement and sustainability You develop sustainable IT and solution architectures, evaluate modern technologies and choose the best tools in a targeted manner You work on strategically relevant initiatives, e.g. to digitize network and business processes, to introduce new systems or to support new business areas You think in solutions, drive forward continuous improvements and have an insight into economy, stability and scalability You integrate information security and data protection as a natural part of modern IT solutions You guide project teams professionally, moderate different interests and create orientation - also in large and interdisciplinary projects

Funded IT technical experience and a very good understanding of modern IT architectures (e.g. application, integration, cloud or data architectures) Experience in managing IT or digital projects, ideally in the regulated or complex environment High affinity for modern technologies, methods and tools (e.g. agile/hybrid project approaches, collaboration tools, automation) A strong will for design and enthusiasm for continuous improvement and sustainable solutions Sensitivity to information security, risks and compliance and the ability to integrate these pragmatically into projects Very good communicative and social skills: You inspire people, create trust and bring different stakeholders together effectively Structured, analytical method combined with entrepreneurial thinking and decision-making
