Senior Engineer – Functional Safety (m/f/d)

You accompany our products in the team from the idea to certification and beyond and secure their functional safety across the entire development process You conduct & moderate risk and security analyses and thereby guide security requirements You are responsible for our safety cases, certification-relevant documentation and technical evidence You drive functional security along the V-model and design technical solutions with You work closely with our product teams in Germany and the USA You accompany certifications and work directly with certifiers and test sites You actively develop our development process in the field of functional safety

Your practical experience with functional safety in product development is particularly important to us – not only from standards and processes, but also with the aim of shaping working methods themselves. Complete technical studies, e.g. engineering, computer science or cf. Qualifications Multiannual experience in functional safety, machine safety or the development of safe systems Experience in the development of complex systems and the interaction of hardware and software Practical experience with relevant standards, such as IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 12100 or ISO 26262 experience in direct cooperation with certifiers, inspection bodies or comparable external bodies Ability to drive functional safety autonomously, to represent and moderate professionally Self-employed, pragmatic hands-on work and very good English knowledge in word and writing
