Our five application areas - industrial parts cleaning, metal pretreatment, functional coatings, functional and decorative electroplating - operate a variety of industries worldwide. You support our team as R&D Developer (w/m/d) Pre-Coating

Development: You independently formulate new screw coatings for securing and sealing and optimize existing systems from idea to release. Analysis: You evaluate results based on predefined guidelines, standards and internal quality standards. Testing: You plan and carry out laboratory tests (e.g. chemical and mechanical characteristics, rheology, adhesion, corrosion) and document comprehensible. Problem solution: You identify causes in simple to moderate cases and derive pragmatic corrective measures. Collaboration: You work closely with production, purchasing and sales and continuously build process and customer knowledge. Exchange of knowledge: You explain complex facts in a comprehensible way and give new team members informal start-up. Efficiency: You take into account costs, quality and time-to-market and align your work with the business goals.

Education: Completed studies (e.g. paint technology, chemistry, chemical engineering) or equivalent practice; also available in Dipl. -Chemist or state-tested paint technician. Knowledge: Basics in binder, pigment and additive chemistry and curing mechanisms. Practice: First to solid experience in formulation and application technology of paints/coatings. Methods: Safe in everyday laboratory including test planning, evaluation, statistics/DoE (nice-to-have) and LIMS/ERP documentation. Languages: Very good German in word and writing; good English skills. Working: Self-employed, structured, quality-conscious and safety-conscious; team-oriented with pleasure in learning.
