In addition, the data profiling gives you clarity about the existing data supply. In conceptual data models, you are responsible for the technical structuring of the data. For the subsequent realization with Oracle database technologies, you can use relational, multidimensional, hybrid and for Big Data also NoSQL data schemes. For data storage, you use Oracle databases, Data Warehouses and Data Marts on premises and increasingly autonomous in the cloud. Performance management applications are implemented on the basis of Oracle Essbase. If necessary, you can also access Open Source products. The design of the reporting and analysis applications and the dashboards takes place in close coordination with the customer. The entire range of Oracle Analytics products, competitive tools and open source products available to the customer are used for realisation. In data migration, you support data profiling, the concept of data acquisition (ETL – extraction, transformation, loading) and the implementation of the ETL process, including the necessary automation and the provision of suitable test routines.

Complete studies in computer science, business informatics, information industry or business engineering with IT affinity Required knowledge and ideally practical experience in the following areas: architecture and use of data management systems Conceptual modeling of data, business processes, business rules Logical and physical database design Data modelling for Data Warehousing and OLAP: Star Schema, Snowflake Schema Monitoring and online analysis: Conception and development of reports, dashboards, reporting systems on the web and on mobile devices
